Role Overview: We are seeking a proficient Backend Developer with strong Python skills to join our dynamic and distributed team. While Python expertise is essential, familiarity with Clojure is a significant advantage. As a Backend Developer at HUDstats, you will work on cutting-edge technologies to develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems for our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain backend components primarily in Python.
Design and implement APIs, microservices, and other backend systems.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure system reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Technical Skills Required:

Proficiency in Python.
Experience with web frameworks and libraries.
Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres/MySQL) and key-value stores (Redis).
Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMPQ.
Experience with cloud services (AWS).
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Experience with Debian/Ubuntu/Linux operating systems

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Clojure or another functional programming language
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like PyTorch.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Influxdb
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Fee up to €60,000 gross per year, based on experience.
