Junior marketing writer | copywriter

We are looking for motivated people to work on a long-term online project (website for promoting premium goods and services in the USA) for a Junior Marketing Writer position.

At this position, you will be responsible for the analysis of the target audience, researching information about a certain product, and based on the received data - you will make recommendations (actually, create an article, which will bring value to the reader and which is several times better in quality than in competitors).

Who we are
EMRG Capital is a venture studio. We create new businesses and startups. Some of the projects we already launched are the following:
- a financial marketing company operating in Switzerland
- a line of private label Amazon stores within the home decor niche
- online marketplaces in the US
- online media for the home improvement and healthcare industries

Our team consists of young, talented, and competitive people from different parts of the world: Ukraine, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, UK, and others. In the team, there are about thirty people, everyone works remotely.

We specialize on hiring and developing talented people at the junior level or with no experience at all. We have been able to build internal training and mentorship systems, which help us to develop people fast and trust them increasingly more responsibility.

We only hire the top 5% of candidates, but those who get in receive systematic training, resources, and a level of responsibility that is hard to find anywhere else in the market. The average age of managers in our company is 22 years, and these people can manage projects with hundreds of thousands of views.

Our perfect candidate:
- Know English: Upper-Intermediate and higher
- Has previous experience in article writing
- Is a confident user of the Internet and Google, Google docs
- Have a keen eye on details for accuracy
- Likes to dig to the roots
- Have the ability to find a logical solution to non-standard tasks
- Have logical, consistent, and rational thinking
- Not bothered by the necessity of grasping new subjects and processing large amounts of information

You have lived or passed an internship/volunteering program in English-speaking countries

Responsibilities
After having passed a short training, we will start a cooperation that covers the following stages:
- You will receive a topic (e.g. JBL Portable Speakers Comparison)
- Conduct in-depth marketing research: analyze customer reviews, manufacturer websites, customer pains, and more
- Structure this information into a draft based on which you will create an article
- Work with an editor who will help you on each stage
The main purpose of the article is to show our expertise and to encourage people to buy through our site.

Next steps:
1. Before we start working with you, we will ask you to complete a test task, and after that, we and you will be able to see if we both are interested in cooperating. The test will help you to more deeply understand the nature of the work (all further tasks will be similar to the test task).
2. If you successfully complete the test, we will give you instructions, videos, and articles that you will become familiar with before the start of the work - this completes the theoretical part, which will take you up to 5-8 hours.
3. Then you will start your own paid work on the project, during which you will constantly be receiving feedback on your work - this is the training, which will take place continually.
