Position Summary
The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the creating and coordination of all digital content in English. The right candidate will have experience in content writing and content marketing. Experience with social media marketing and search marketing, would be a great benefit.
The Content Marketing Specialist is a creative marketing mind with the ability to create and organize content marketing projects and work hand in hand with the rest of our team. The ability to interpret analytics and troubleshoot web related technical issues is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Developing and managing a content marketing strategy that supports organizational goals such as increasing the brand and offer awareness, growing website traffic, generating sales, and retaining customers.
• Create, edit and manage the production and posting of digital content in English that is consistent with the organization’s brand, style and tone.
• Create, edit and manage Social Media Campaigns in English, on various social media websites, blogs, and other online resources.
• Work with our managers, graphic designers, and developers towards the creation of content that is required.
• Monitor and report on content marketing metrics and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.
• If good progress is shown over the course of time, there is the possibility of career advancement, which will involve management responsibilities, and the possibility to hire an assistant, or additional writers, editors, and data analysts.
Education/Experience Requirements
• The candidate should have advanced writing skills in English, so as the entire content creating, editing and management work will be performed in English.
• Bachelors degree (graduated, or in progress). Ideally, the candidate should have his/her education in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations. If the candidate majored in Economics or Computer Science, that is also acceptable.
• Experience in digital content strategy and tactics including content creation, editing, analytics, social media marketing. Search engine optimization experience is a plus.
Skill Requirements
The Content Marketing Manager position requires a number of skills including:
• Copywriting – An understanding of how to create and present content that persuades.
• Editing – Proven editorial skills in English, including strong language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style and tone.
• Blogging – Successful management of a business blog that furthers organizational goals.
• Content Marketing – Demonstrated experience with successful planning, management and execution of a content marketing strategy.
• Social Media Marketing – Proven experience using social media channels to distribute and amplify the organization’s content.
• Analytics – An excellent command of analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics and AdWords, to adjust marketing strategy and tactics.
